
Adam Nieman has a PhD in science communication and over twenty years of experience in science, education and the creative arts. Adam has developed innovative science communication projects for a variety of clients including ESA and Creative Partnerships and is the innovator behind Space Signpost. Adam was the lead education and design consultant for the GovEd Consortium on the DCSF's Project Faraday.
Adam is also a qualified copy editor and designer for print and digital media, and won first prize in the 2003 Visions of Science Awards. He has authored major multi-media resources for public and specialist audiences and has lectured in new media theory as well as science communication. He is currently leading further development on GovEd Technologies' LiVEPosters products.
Adam is an experienced project manager who has worked with clients as diverse as the European Space Agency, the Royal Institution, the Cheltenham Science Festival and Rich Mix, a cultural foundation in East London. He was also the project manager for Small-Talk, the consultation and public engagement project on nanotechnologies.
Adam is also the Creative Director of Carbon Visuals Ltd, GovEd's joint venture company with CarbonSense.
Adam is a member of the British Interactive Group, the Space Education Council, and serves on the committee of the General Section of the British Association for the Advancement of Science (the BA).
