Nick Blackmore

Nick is a professional designer with over 15 years of experience in product design, project management and education. He is a qualified teacher, APM-accredited project manager and is skilled in managing multi-organisational partnership projects. Nick is also a trained furniture designer and FF&E specialist, and has extensive experience in logistical planning and budgeting. He was the overall project manager for the GovEd Consortium on Project Faraday.

Nick's experience in education has included working on a range of Academies projects for Alligan, including the Marlowe and West London Academies. He is currently devising and overseeing the translation of curriculum requirements into projects such as Chelsea Academy, Merchants' Academy and Oasis Immingham Academy.

Nick's career has led him to working closely with some of the UK's leading architectural practices. He has also been the director of a product design company Columbia Glassworks, with clients including Alexander McQueen, Paul Smith, Sheraton Hotels and Harrods.

Nick is a part-time lecturer at Chelsea College of Art. He is affiliated to the Association for Project Managers.
