The main outputs which we produced from Project Faraday were as follows:
- An 85-page detailed architectural brochure, including detailed designs for two of our partner new-build schools, furniture and equipment layouts, and the full design rationale and research process.
- Contribution to the main Project Faraday summary book.
- Imaginative 3-D animated fly-throughs of the designed spaces, including a ‘day-in-the-life’ approach to demonstrate how the flexible spaces can be used and adapted over the course of a school day.
- A 30-minute documentary film about the project.
- A literature review.
- A detailed report on visits to leading schools with exemplary science facilities in the UK and USA.
- Detailed design brochures for new interactive technologies for science teaching.
- Design proposals for science facilities for other partner schools undergoing refurbishment of their buildings.
